Problems with whites in your painting

Marc Hanson, an incredible artist, just posted this very interesting article. Please read - and make your own conclusions! Mine is that Im going to avoid zinc in my Whites

Emiliya Lane
I'm a Russian born, classically trained, multiple award winning artist, living, painting and teaching in Seattle, WA . All kinds of Arts, painting, drawing, imagining, is my profession and obsession. I've been drawing and painting since I was 3. After graduating from Russian art school and University with Master degree in Fine Art and Art History I've been working in the movie industry for 15 years as an animator. In 2000 I moved to United States for good.. I have studied painting with Scott Christensen, Jeremy Lipking, Jim Lamb, John Bodicin, Pam Ingalls, Robert Liberace, Ovanes Berberian, Ned Mueller and Kathryn Stats. I'm affiliated with Oil Painters of America, Plein Air Painters of Washington , Daily Paint works, Portrait Society of America, American Impressionist Society and Women Painters of America . I represented by FrankandDunya.com, Kronos Gallery on beautiful Vashon island, WA and Vernissage Gallery at Seattle Design Center . I'm also an avid reader, a salsa dancer, a hiker, yoga and meditation practitioner, just in a constant search for Balance, Beauty and Harmony.
