"Gossiping" 12x12 oil on canvas

I finally got into a pretty structured routine - to paint after work . So from about 9 to 12 is my the most enjoyable time - of course getting up in the morning is a different story - ah such a small sacrifice for ART.:-)  So this painting done from life, ala prima, all pumpkins from a local market , and I'm happy with the result . Enjoy!
You can also purchase it :-)

"He Is Late Again" 12x16, oil/board

This painting I did almost a year ago during Jeremy Lipking workshop. But I revisited it and finished a couple of days ago .
The model was a very beautiful girl but she definitely didn't exude the joy sitting on the cold rocks that's why that title - "He is late again" :-)
I'm starting to looking into redefining my own style . Somehow, since I'm looking and studying so many artists  styles, blogs, art books, I started  mimicking other people painting styles . I think it's time to reclaim uniqueness and my own voice

I painted this a couple of month ago, and really like that unexpected effect of seemingly uncombined colors - red and pink - in this case,  it worked...I think  :-)

"The Rest Stop" 10x10 oil/linen

I took this photo on the way to Scott Christensen workshop last year . Those people was from Canada, and the whole caravan ( it was quite a few vintage cars and campers) was in a perfect shiny condition and looked sooo cute. Finally I decided to paint it and did so yesterday. I painted  till 2 in the morning- talking about obsession :-)
