We are thrilled to invite you to the long-awaited solo exhibit
by the owner of Frank and Dunya Gallery, Emiliya Lane!
Please come during the month of January to see the results of Emiliya's major breakthrough after many years of creative struggle and her new found joy of painting alla prima.
Emiliya has been drawing since the age three and for 15 years worked in the animation industry.
She calls herself “a pragmatic idealist” whom the process of self discovery took on many paths.
Meanwhile, the seed of painting grew more and more into an obsession.
The result is a formidable collection of paintings, "Fragments of Life", which draws on a wide variety of snapshots captured by her discerning eye.
Still life and landscapes grasp the essence of everyday life scenes and humble objects that occupy our lives with deeper meaning.
You are cordially invited to join us for the First Friday Art Walk and artist’s reception
at Frank and Dunya on January 6, 2012 from 6 – 9 pm.
